Prince William and Kate Middleton are being accused of  telling a huge lie. Apparently, there are a lot of people who believe that Kate Middleton didn’t even appear in the Mother’s Day photo that was supposedly taken over the weekend with her kids.

Some people think that it was so heavily doctored that it might have been photoshopped to infinity and beyond or the photo was taken sometime last year.

Either way, it sure has raised a lot of eyebrows as many royal critics simply don’t know what to believe anymore. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Omid Scobie, who often defends Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in his tweets, lashed out at the palace and Prince William and Kate Middleton for supposedly covering up the truth about what is really going on behind closed palace doors for the couple.

Not only that, but he also pointed out that after this photoshopping debacle, it will be hard to trust anything that William and Kate have to say from this point on. 

Scobie wrote on his X account, “With the Palace’s long history of lying, covering up, and even issuing statements on behalf of family members without their permission (cc: Prince Harry), it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the public to believe a word (and now photo) they share. Gaining that back at this point is an almost impossible task.”

Of course, many of his followers also had to weigh in on the matter with replies such as, “You’d think the RF would be beholden to its people to let them know what’s going on with the princess.

Telling and showing the truth should be the bare minimum. People would understand and be sympathetic more than anything else.

The way they are covering it up leads to conspiracy,” along with, “It’s not even the editing that’s come back to bite. It’s the editing and then passing them off as real that’s done the harm. On social media that’s fine but press associations are a different matter.”

Another critic wrote, “I do not believe the photo was taken last week and that is what the real issue is. They’ve edited it (badly) to hide the fact they are in the exact same outfits they were wearing in the baby bank video KP released in December.”
