Prince William And Kate Middleton Announce New School For Their KidsIt’s going to be a new term, new school soon for the Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children. Not only that, they’ll be moving from their country home to Adelaide Cottage, located just a short distance from the Queen’s Windsor residence. New term, check. New school, check. New home, triple check.

Sources are also saying that the Cambridges chose the school, even though it’s not basically considered a “posh” school, just to give their children a “normal” upbringing.

The Cambridge Kids To Kick Off New Term In A New Private School Near Windsor

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s office announced that their children: Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 3, will be starting school this September at a private Lambrook school.

“Their Royal Highnesses are hugely grateful to Thomas’s Battersea where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively and are pleased to have found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values to Thomas’s,” Kensington Palace said.

The announcement is coming after the couple shared that they will be moving into a new four bedroom property, where they will live for the first time without a nanny. They will also be paying rent on the property.

However, the couple will be keeping their London home, an apartment at Kensington Palace which was renovated when they moved in, as well as their Amner Hall country residence in eastern England.

The reason for the move was attributed to the facts that they want to give their children as normal an upbringing as possible and to be near the aging monarch.

Details About the Cambridge Kids’ New Lambrook School

The children’s new school costs up to 21,000 pounds ($24,803) annually per pupil. It features nine-hole golf course in its 52 acres of grounds, home to an orchard with pigs, chickens, rabbits, bees and lambs.

“We are delighted that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will be joining us this coming September and very much look forward to welcoming the family, as well as all of our new pupils, to our school community,” its headmaster Jonathan Perry said in a statement.
