Well, there is certainly no turning back on this one. There’s a new report that says Prince William and Kate MIddleton did like Meghan Markle when they first met her and absolutely did want to give her a chance.

But of course, all of that changed the moment they realized what her true colors were. 

But before all of that happened, the Prince and Princess of Wales thought that Prince Harry’s new girlfriend was a “breath of fresh” air when they met her back in 2016. In fact, it wasn’t as awkward as Meghan assumed it was on her end.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “A junior member of staff explained that in the early days when the Fab Four were still getting along, she once came across Meghan and William doing a jokey parody of Fifties jiving together. William was apparently very good at it.”

If that weren’t enough, an insider also suggested that if Prince William and Meghan Markle wanted to be a couple, they could have been a couple, believe it or not.

The insider said, “I can tell you that if William had wanted to marry Meghan Markle, it would’ve been a step too far… [But] Harry was never going to be king. The courtiers and ladies-in-waiting and communications teams thought Meghan would keep Harry out of trouble; give him something to focus on.”

Well, that would have been a very interesting pairing, right? Clearly, that is never going to happen as Prince William has made it clear that he never wants to speak to his sister-in-law ever again, let alone be in the same room as her. The Prince of Wales despises her with every bone in his body.
