Prince William and Kate Middleton Making Huge Changes

It appears as though Prince William and Kate Middleton really are cleaning house. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are making some pretty big changes behind the scenes and right after their recent split from the Sussexes. Apparently, the first thing that William and Kate are looking to do is to hire new staff in what can be best described as a royal privacy crackdown. Here’s what you need to know.

Jason In Charge

According to Britain’s Express.co.uk, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge haven’t been too pleased with the way things have been working out for them at the Royal Foundation. The CEO of the charity, Lorraine Heggessey, recently quit. She has been replaced by Jason Knauf, who used to be the former communications chief for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

As many royal fans can recall, it was Jason Knauf who told the paparazzi to back off in 2015 when they were getting too close to Prince George. He called their behavior both dangerous and distressing and made it pretty clear that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wanted the media to respect their wishes when it came to their children. He also issued a statement regarding Meghan Markle’s safety when she began her relationship with Prince Harry.

Staff Shake-Up Behind The Scenes

In a statement announcing the changes, William and Kate wrote, “Lorraine has played an integral role in our charitable initiatives over the last two-and-a-half years. We are very grateful for her hard work and support, and wish her the very best for the future. We are pleased that Jason has been appointed as CEO and very much look forward to working with him in his new role.”

With Jason Knauf now in charge, the Duke and Duchess are sending out a clear message: they are really looking to shake things up staff wise and with Jason Knauf’s help, they also want to work on strengthening their brand. So far Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the reported changes, but royal fans will be keeping an eye on the situation either way.
