Prince William And Kate Middleton Pen Touching Messages To Fallen Soldiers On Remembrance Day

At this year’s Remembrance Day ceremony, Prince William placed a wreath at the Cenotaph on behalf of him and his wife.

This is the first remembrance day service following the Queen’s death, and it probably brought back many memories to Catherine as she was pictured looking very emotional, and she even paid a sweet tribute to Her Majesty with her choice of jewelries.

The Prince And Princess Of Wales Take Central Stage At This Year’s Remembrance Day Service

Prince William and Catherine took the time to write a short message on their Remembrance Day wreath, in memory of all the service people who lost their lives fighting for Britain.

Will and Kate took center stage at this year’s event, beside King Charles and Queen Camilla.

“In memory of all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We will remember them,” the royal couple wrote.

King Charles, who is leading this year’s service as head of state, placed his poppy wreath, which carried the words, “In memory of the glorious dead.” For the first time, a wreath was also placed on behalf of Queen Camilla.

Princess Anne And Prince Edward Also Placed Wreaths On The Cenotaph.

Keeping with a tradition that dates back to 1921, the royal family each wore a red poppy pin as a result of the day’s significance.

While Prince William and King Charles each wore a single poppy pinned to their lapel, Queen Camilla and Catherine wore three poppies. The three poppies that the Princess wore were thought to signify the three people on her great-grandmother Olive Middleton’s side who died during World War One.

Prince Harry, even though living in the US, also took the time to reflect on the fallen soldiers in a special way.
