Prince William and Kate Middleton Struggle To Find Time To Meet Other European Royals

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly finding it hard to travel to royal events that take place outside the country and are organized by foreign royals.

This has drawn some criticisms and called into question the intelligence behind King Charles’ slimmed-down monarchy model.

If the royals are going to be worn too thin that foreign events can’t make it into their calendar, shouldn’t more royals be enlisted to streamline the process?

Royal Expert Disagrees with Those Who Criticize Prince William and Princess Kate For Not Attending Prince Christian’s Birthday

While some may be on team “criticize the royals because they couldn’t find time to travel to Denmark to attend a birthday party,” others believe there was no need to waste the jet fuel to take part in a lavish birthday party.

Prince Christian of Denmark’s 18th birthday was a glitzy and glam one, attended by most of the current and future monarchs of European countries.

This includes the monarchs of Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden and Norway, who attended the ceremony with their heirs and posed beside the future monarch.

In light of the Waleses missing the important occasion, royal experts criticized their decision not to attend, especially since the European royals all attended the Queen’s funeral and King Charles’ coronation.

However, Jennie Bond agrees that it was the right decision to sit it out since it would have “given the wrong impression.”

“Most people have had experiences of trying to get a big family reunion off the ground. We are all so busy that it can seem impossible.”

“So I don’t see anything strange in our Royal Family struggling to find time to meet up with their European cousins,” she continued.

Britain Is Currently Struggling With The Cost Of Living Crisis.

She added: “I’m not sure it would give the right impression to have a bunch of royals jetting off to Europe to join in lavish celebrations for someone’s birthday.

We are still in the middle of a cost of living crisis and I think our royals do much better to spend their time on the campaigns that mean so much to them at home.”

In regards to her vision of the monarchy, she said, “I would much rather see William and Kate in their casual working clothes, visiting a charity or talking about mental health rather than dressed up to the nines at a ball somewhere in Europe.”
