It looks like they really weren’t given a royal handbook on how to do things. Clearly, we are talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton as there’s a new report that suggests the royal couple certainly did have a hard time learning how to become parents – or at least in the beginning when their son Prince George was born. Prince William And Kate Middleton Struggling To Raise Their Children?

In fact, a new report suggests the Prince and Princess of Wales had to “start from scratch” to figure out how to raise their kids, believe it or not.

Speaking to The Telegraph in a new interview, royalist Valentin Low, who often has something or another to say about the royals on almost a daily basis, believes that William and Kate were self-taught when it came to parenting and raising their family on their own.

He said, “Previous generations of the Royal family weren’t renowned for their parenting skills. The one sovereign who escaped such parental failures was Elizabeth II, who was brought up in a close-knit family of four: the difference, of course, was that until she was 10 no one knew she would be queen.”

Because of that, William and Kate were apparently very determined to do things differently for their three children, which also includes Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Low continued, “The way they have lived their lives – getting the kids outside, spending time together, focusing on the school run – it’s just as strategic as any other part of their public service.”

“Preparing their children for the lives they are going to lead, it’s central to their roles – it’s not something that’s on the side.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
