Prince William And Kate Middleton View Harry And Meghan As ‘Arch Enemies’!

Royal family news reveal controversy over the annual Trooping The Color. And it involves who received (and didn’t receive) invitations. Because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t receive invitations, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton reportedly feel relieved.

Who Are Prince William And Princess Kate’s ‘Arch Enemies’? 

Royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not receive invitations to the annual Trooping The Color. And that made Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton feel thankful, insiders told In Touch.

“William and Kate are relieved that their archenemies, Harry and Meghan, aren’t attending the Trooping the Colour. Kate can’t stand the sight of Meghan,” revealed one source.

However, Markle feels exactly the same way about Middleton, according to the insider. But in addition to Kate and Meghan disliking each other, their husbands feel the same way. “Kate and Meghan can’t stand each other and there’s no love lost between Harry and William. Their relationship is frosty,” revealed the source.

Kate, Meghan, Harry, and William last met up at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022. But the couples seemed to try to avoid each other. And when the four met with mourners outside Windsor Castle, Meghan and Kate noticeably tried to steer clear of each other. But this year, Prince Harry feels especially upset about the fact that his father King Charles did not invite him to the Trooping The Color.

Harry’s Memoir Sparked King Charles’ Outrage

And an insider shared that the Duke of Sussex views Charles not inviting him to the event as “a real thorn in the thigh for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I doubt they would’ve attended anyways,” admitted the source. “But for Harry it’s the principle.”

Last year, Queen Elizabeth invited Harry and Meghan to the event. And they traveled to the UK to attend her Platinum Jubilee. But for King Charles, Harry’s memoir Spare represents a huge source of stress between son and father. “Tensions have remained high between Harry and his dad since the release of Spare. Naturally Charles is protective over [Queen] Camilla,” revealed the insider. 

And King Charles felt “appalled by Harry’s Wicked Witch of the West portrayal of his wife. It will take a miracle for the son and father to ever get back to the way they were,” added the source. “Bottom line. Neither party is willing to budge and make amends.” 

Prince Harry Has No Regrets

However, Harry actually doesn’t regret stepping back from his life as a royal, according to the source. And as he strengthens his support network in California, Harry feels happy about his life there with his family and friends. Harry “has no regrets about leaving the royal life and the drama and backstabbing that came with it,” shared the insider.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their decision to step down as senior working royals in January 2020. That move came 19 months after their royal wedding. The two then settled into a $14 million mansion in Montecito, California. But Harry continues to feud with his royal relatives. For instance, he and Meghan did so in their six-part Netflix series. And Harry slammed his family in his memoir.
