Of course, we are talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton as there’s a new report that says their public displays of affection is real and not “fake” like another certain royal couple out there. According to the Daily Mail, whenever the Prince and Princess of Wales kiss or hold hands in public, it’s not performative, unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Or at least, that’s what one royalist says.

Body language expert Judi James, who often studies the royal family whenever they are making public appearances, believes that what Prince William and Kate Middleton have is real and that even though they’ve been married for several long years, the love and intensity between them is as real as it gets.

James put it this way, “Their rituals suggest there’s been no real change in the intensity of their love for one another; what’s happened is they have finally felt safe enough to trust enough (not each other but the public and the press) to show it.”

She continued, “It’s a hug that suggests all inhibitions are being jettisoned as the desire to greet and cherish takes over. And for the Waleses is it yet another sign that the latest chapter of their marriage, the one where they feel free to show their levels of mutual love and adoration by more tactile behaviours in public, is still very much a part of their personal and generational royal brand now.”

Now, that’s not to say that what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have isn’t real as well, but it seems like the royals have made it their full-time job to compete with one another to see who has the better and more loving marriage, right?
