Are they really that backed up when it comes to their day-to-day work? That’s what a lot of royalists can’t help but wonder when it comes to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s staffers as they seemingly just made this really embarrassing mistake.

That’s because there is a new report that says Willim and Kate’s team sent out their Christmas thank you cards three months late. In other words, someone behind the scenes totally dropped the ball.

While the royal couple often do send out their thank you cards to thousands of well-wishers every year, a lot of royalists can’t help but wonder why it took them so long to do it this year.

Some have even wrote comments as, “I got mine yesterday and I’m living in Romania, it cheered me up,” while another person said, “It always takes very long for a response. I did receive the King’s response in late February, though. I’m still awaiting my response from the Prince and Princess of Wales.”

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I imagine the RF gets thousands of cards from all over the world from people hoping to get a response they can put in their scrapbooks. W&K have a lot of staff, but I don’t that many in their office – one person for correspondence sounds right.”

Another critic wrote, “I don’t get why they do it in the first place. The best they can expect in return is some boilerplate thank-you sent out by a staffer. Do some people think W&K are personally sending these out? I mean really.”

And then there was this comment as well: “They have a staff of 60+, what do these people do? I’d love to know how many are administrative staff, how many are senior level staff, how many are domestic/household staff, etc.”

“We can also believe that their staff diversity percentage is super low and nonexistent in senior level or administrative staff.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
