Could there be any truth in this? That’s what a lot of royal fans and critics can’t help but wonder as there’s a new report that suggests Prince William is none too pleased that his family might have “sabotaged” his recent trip to Brazil. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Apparently, the Prince of Wales is angry that his father King Charles decided to steal the spotlight from him last week while he was in Brazil.

That’s because David Beckham received his knighthood the same day Prince William kicked off his Earthshot Awards in the Southern American country.

“Of all weeks,” one friend of William’s told The Royalist, “this was the one week he needed the family to be pulling for him. Instead, it felt like they were pulling against him. He was left hurt and angry.”

“The family sabotaged it from beginning to end,” the William friend said. “It was pathetic, like the worst of the bad old days.”

Of course, many royalists sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “Of course he got upstaged because people don’t care about him like that! I feel like the only time he will get all the attention he craves is when he has his coronation but that is about it.”

“Also, William and Kate continue to disrespect the public who fund their lifestyles with their laziness!”

Another critic wrote, “That’s why he’s been so jealous of Harry all his life and constantly lashing out at him/trying to knock him down a peg or two. William wants all of the perks and privileges without any of the responsibilities. It’s understandable in an abstract way but not realistic to life.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Such massive unearned wealth and privilege, a beautiful family with 3 healthy children, multiple expensive properties, staff to do everything for him, luxury holidays multiple times a year but still not happy. Cry me a river.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more.
