The royal family knows how to maintain a united silence. Prince William – Feels Most Upset Over Prince Harry’s Memoir

If someone dared to poll individual royal family members on their reactions to Prince Harry’s memoir, Prince William would score the highest in terms of emotional upset. And royal insiders shared that William feels that Harry betrayed his brother. But don’t look for the royal family to subject themselves to media interviews on the topic. However, while maintaining silence on Harry’s memoir, his royal relatives reacted inside the Palace, an insider told People.

Prince William feels furious about Harry’s allegations in his memoir. For instance, the Duke of Sussex described his brother as his “arch nemesis.” And Harry alleged that William physically attacked him. As a result, “William is the one who is most upset and needs time to calm down,” shared the insider.

And Harry’s brother believes that the memoir unfairly portrays him as “hotheaded and unsympathetic. But I don’t think he will back down,” warned the source. “It’s whether they can move beyond it and accept that they view things differently.” And royal author Valentine Low, author of Courtiers, sees William as “furious about the betrayals of confidences.”

King Charles – Hopes Feud Will Ease Before His Coronation

The royal father hopes that the feud eases prior to his May 6 coronation. Because of public perception, the King wants to see his sons united at the event.

“It is such a momentous occasion for Charles,” noted the insider about the coronation. “And he would want his son to be at the coronation to witness it. He would like to have Harry back in the family.”

However, the source warned what could happen if the feud continues. “If they don’t sort it out, it will always be part of the King’s reign and how he has left his family disjointed. He has had a reputation as a distant parent,” pointed out the source. “And it would be awful for him for that to continue.”

Archbishop Of Canterbury Could Mend Royal Rift

But some think that the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, could achieve King Charles’ goals. Because Welby served as the officiant for Harry and Meghan’s wedding and will also officiate the coronation service, he reportedly hopes to bring the sides together. And Charles allegedly asked the Archbishop to communicate with Harry and Meghan.

“If he could reconcile the family members, that is what he would want to do,” shared an insider about Welby. But royal historian Robert Lacey believes that the entire royal family needs to unite. “Quite9 apart from [Charles’] paternal hope to reunite with his son, one of the jobs of the royal family is showing how to cope with the problems we all have in a human and thoughtful way. What will be a success for the family in the future is not reconciliation necessarily,” shared Lacey. “But mutual acceptance of different ideas and priorities.”
