Prince William’s days as a prince are numbered. When King Charles took the throne, we knew we would eventually see Prince William ascending and taking his father’s place.

But, everyone thought King Charles had a couple of decades to go, that was before his unexpected cancer diagnosis.
Now, the clock is ticking and Prince William will probably be crowned the King of England sooner rather than later.
New York Times recently published an essay regarding the Royal Family’s state of current affairs. “The almost simultaneous news of Charles’s cancer has put William and Catherine in frightening proximity to ascending the throne just when they had hoped for a span of years to parent their children out of the public eye,” journalist Tina Brown wrote in the essay
Prince William And Kate Middleton Aren’t Ready
Brown added, “A tidal wave of premature responsibility is crashing in her and William’s direction. Frozen, unready and with Catherine now seriously unwell, the Prince and Princess of Wales await the awesome burden of the crown.”

So much focus has been on Kate Middleton since it was finally revealed that she too was battling cancer, that there haven’t been many updates about King Charles’ health.
There still hasn’t been a confirmation on what kind of cancer the King is battling. For all the people of UK know, Charles could have been given “X amount of days to live.”
How Much Longer Will King Charles Last
Prince William is probably in full-blown panic mode right now, and nobody can blame him. If King Charles did take an unexpected turn for the worse tomorrow, how is William supposed to take over the monarchy when his wife Kate Middleton needs him at home to help with their three young children?

I think Prince William will make a great King as he has been in training all his life for it and for the princess they will have all kind of help in raising they kids and still be there for them because of the love they gave show them. Prince William will be good because of his age to relate to the younger generation.
