Prince William – Gets Dragged By Football Legends For Not Doing His Job

Sir Geoff Hurst, who is a former professional football player who famously became the first person to score a hat trick during a World Cup Final, had some pretty tense words to share for the future king of England.

When asked if Prince William should have been in Australia for the Women’s World Cup Final, Hurst said, Yes, I do. I think if the royals attend the men’s game, they should definitely. It’s an English team, a World Cup tournament, a member of the royal family should definitely have gone. No argument at all about that.”

But he’s not the only person who put Prince William in his place. Aussie football great Craig Foster also didn’t hold back his disdain for Prince William and his behavior on his Twitter account, too.

That’s because William could have used this as an opportunity to support both Team Australia and Team England in one tournament.

Just as a reminder, the King of England also happens to be the King of Australia.

Even The Football Critics Are After Prince William For Not Doing His Job

He wrote, “You are aware @KensingtonRoyal that @TheMatildas were also playing for 3rd, right? And that we’re one of the ‘realms’ asked to ‘cry out our allegiance’ to your old man, his heirs & successors ie you? Not much allegiance in return, clearly.”

Many royal fans and critics alike also commented on the matter with,William not turning up to the semis and the finals was just inexcusable as head of the FA president (and as future heir, but let’s hope the whole things goes down in flames before that ever happens),” along with, “No one criticized Harry for flying to Tokyo when England was in the Rugby final in 2019, and that was in the midst of the tabloids finding every reason they could to criticize Harry and Meghan. They would not have criticized William for showing up to support the women in the World Cup final.”
