It looks like it’s going to be the Prince of Wales who is going to be making any final decisions about his wife Kate Middleton and her future appearances.

As many royal fans already know, the Princess of Wales is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for her cancer.

And while there has been some speculation that she might be presenting the trophies for this year’s Wimbledon tournament, it looks like it will be Prince William who will have the final say on that one.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “William controls this household and William will decide whether she’s well enough to do this because he’s the one that protects the family – fiercely.”

“There’s no way he’s going to subject Kate to intrusion that she can’t handle. He’s so fiercely protective.”

What’s Next For Prince William And Kate Middleton?

There’s speculation that suggests Prince William is being very careful simply because of all the harassment that the couple have already received from the British media and the paparazzi.

As many royal fans can recall, Kate Middleton was photographed topless while she was sunbathing in France back in 2012.

Prince William simply doesn’t want to deal with that kind of intrusion again and seeing how they are now dealing with one of the most difficult times in their lives, the future King of England just doesn’t want to take any chances.

That’s why Kate Middleton has been mostly staying out of the spotlight, even though she could take on royal engagements and public appearances like her cancer-stricken father-in-law, King Charles.

But it’s Prince William who has made the decision to keep her at home, just because he wants to protect his family. And who can blame him for feeling that way, right?
