Well, you can’t win them all over, now can you? There’s a new report that says Prince William certainly didn’t like how American Meghan Markle was when he was still living in the UK. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Prince William Hated How ‘American’ Meghan Markle Was

In fact, he felt downright uncomfortable with her friendly, tactile matter at times, too. In other words, he had a hard time trying to figure out what she wanted and whether or not her intentions were pure. No one can blame him for feeling the way that he did, right? 

According to The Times, one source close to the situation says that tensions first began to rise between Prince William and Prince Harry when the future king of England began to notice just how different Meghan was compared to the rest of the royal family.

Clearly, that didn’t sit too well with him. The insider even put it this way, “This tactile manner made William uncomfortable because Meghan hugged him virtually every time they bumped into each other; the hugging and cheek-kissing fuelled gossip among the staff that Meghan was flirting with William, which she was obviously not, but the tense atmosphere caused by all the touchy-feeliness (and the resultant gossip) deepened the rift between the brothers.”

What’s more, Meghan wasn’t flirting with Prince William at the time but it looks like the cultural differences were not only a problem with the Prince of Wales, but everyone in his staff as well. They were just confused by all of her actions.

With all of that said, it doesn’t seem like Prince William will ever speak to Meghan again, let alone be in the same room as her.
