It looks like it’s not going to happen on his watch, or at least not anytime soon. Clearly, we are talking about Prince William as there’s heavy speculation suggesting he’s willing and ready to block this royal reunion from happening. Keep reading below for all the details you need to know.

Apparently, the Prince of Wales is none too pleased that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are bringing their two children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK next month.

And while the Sussexes are certainly free to do what they want while on British soil, Prince William just doesn’t want to feel pressured to have his family reunite with the Sussexes and especially if it’s not going to happen on his own terms.

Plus, he also knows that with the media watching the royal family’s each and every move, it’s going to be hard to justify skipping out on a reunion with Harry and Meghan, and especially if they are going to be in the same place at the same time.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Even if relations are gradually improving, the Wales household likely has a full schedule already in place for the summer, and any reunion involving the cousins would require tons of planning and goodwill from all parties involved.”

Well, not only that, but it also seems like it’s up to both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle to make plans, should they happen at all.

But seeing how things are still rather icy between the two women, the future queen of England might be trying to avoid any all future meetings with her sister-in-law. She certainly doesn’t want to talk to her, let alone be in the same room as her.

The insider also added, “Particularly if Catherine were to be involved in any potential plan.”

That said, it’s no wonder that Prince William doesn’t want this reunion to happen, or at least not this summer.
