Well, it looks like he’s got family in his life that he can definitely lean on. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William has been spending a lot of time with Kate Middleton’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton.

Apparently, the Prince of Wales has gotten much closer to his in-laws ever since his wife Kate Middleton was diagnosed with cancer. In fact, their bond has never been stronger, according to royal commentator Robert Jobson.

Not only that, but Prince William also sees Carole Middleton as a mother figure to him and has always seen her as a source for support.

Robson puts it this way, “[William] was given another family with Carole and Michael Middleton from a very early age,” he penned. “I think he counts on Carole and Michael very much as his second mum and dad, really.”

But lately he’s been spending more time with Carole and Michael Middleton and that’s mostly because he’s been at odds with his own father, King Charles.

That’s because King Charles doesn’t want to see William take the same helicopter rides with his children, and mostly with Prince Geoge, who will also one day become the next king of England. He just doesn’t think it’s safe.

Robson also said, “One recent source of disagreement is William’s stubborn refusal to take his father’s advice on safeguarding the succession.”
