Prince William is feeling the pressure like he’s never felt it before. There’s a new report that suggests the Prince of Wales knows that he’s soon going to have to transition into his new role as the King of England but that there’s also going to have to be a lot of work put into it. With King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, things are certainly going to change for the royal family. Now, whether or not they are going to be good changes, is anyone’s guess.

For Prince William, he knows that he’s going to have to step it up, especially when it comes to his royal workload. The timing though couldn’t be any worse with his wife Kate Middleton still recovering from her abdominal surgery.

One source close to the situation told the Daily Beast, “There is a sense of the future accelerating towards him … and the added pressures on his family being under even more scrutiny. He knows the future [of the monarchy] rests on his, Catherine’s and his kids’ shoulders, and that’s a lot of pressure.”

Royal fans can expect to see much more of Prince William in the coming weeks and months ahead. Not only will be he attending more royal engagements, but he’ll also have to carry a huge workload at home with the couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

A separate insider also said, “After spending half-term with the children, you can expect to see the Prince of Wales return to work in a more normal way, in the knowledge that he will still be supporting his wife and still be doing the school run and pick-ups.”
