As many royalists are aware of, both Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson have been stripped of their royal titles and have also been evicted from the Royal Lodge because of their past association with Jeffrey Epstein.

And while it might seem that it was Prince William who initiated all of this against Prince Andrew, that might not be totally true. In fact, he seems to have a soft spot in his heart for him, believe it or not.

That’s because sources say that the Prince of Wales is actually concerned about his uncle and his mental health. After all, he has gone through a lot in such a short period of time.

While it was certainly the best thing to strip Prince Andrew for his title, Prince William still wants to make sure that his uncle is doing okay, or that at least his mental health is in tact.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “In the whole sorry saga, William was often painted as the tough guy urging his father to put his foot down. This image of ruthless William was, I’m told, wide of the mark.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Andrew?

The insider added: “Instead, the future King was worried about his uncle amid the controversy. If anything, William was deeply concerned for his uncle’s mental health and how Andrew would cope after everything was taken away.”

Now, whether or not King Charles feels the same way as his son Prince William, no one really knows. But at the same time, a lot of royal critics can’t help but wonder what took him so long to put his foot down on his little brother and his antics.
