William and Kate appeared in a video shared on X and they had tongues wagging due to William’s bold new look. The couple appeared along with British celebrities as well as American rapper Snoop Dogg, who was a NBC correspondent during the Summer Games.
Royal Family News – William Has a Bold New Look
The Princess of Wales said “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to team GB!” William added “Well done on all you’ve achieved. You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”
The royal couple wrote in the text of the post: “Well done @TeamGB, what an incredible journey! Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart and passion. You made us all so proud! Here’s to celebrating every triumph at @Paris2024 and looking forward to more from @ParalympicsGB later in the summer.”
Royal Family News – Catherine Recovers From Cancer
It was thought that Kate and William might make a surprise appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. They did not do so as Princess Catherine continues to receive preventative cancer treatment.

William stunned viewers with his bearded appearance, a throwback look to his Christmas Day 2008 appearance in which he was photographed with a bit of stubble.
People notes that “His late grandmother Queen Elizabeth was reportedly not fond of facial hair and insisted her husband, Prince Philip, shave the beard he grew during his solo Commonwealth tour in 1965.””

Royal Family News – Queen Elizabeth Did Not Favor Beards
The Prince of Wales attended the UEFA European Championship final in Germany with George on July 14 and that same day the Princess attended the Wimbledon Tennis Championships with Princess Charlotte and her sister, Pippa Middleton.

The outing was the Princess of Wales’ second public appearance this year and she was welcomed with a standing ovation.
In a video Kate noted that the Wales family watched the tournament on television prior to her appearance.
The Paris Olympic Games saw its share of royal spectators with Queen Mary and King Frederik of Denmark, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, and King Felipe and Queen Maxima of Spain all photographed enjoying the Games.
