It’s been two years and two weeks since royal family fans heard about Prince William and Prince George not traveling in the same car. Of course, that was for security reasons. Well, apparently, more changes come for the heir and his family in 2026. Read on to find out more.

The news arrived via royal commentator Neil Sean on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Monday night. According to Sean, his update on travel security arrived via a well-placed source.
Allegedly, the Prince of Wales was told that he needs to “radically change his thought process” about security. Once again, it’s about the threat to the line of succession if anything bad happens.

Of course, it’s not really a new concept. After all, as Sean reminded his followers, Queen Elizabeth stressed about the family traveling together. At the time, William kicked against it, feeling it was an “antiquated” rule. In fact, it might have been the only time that William and his grandmother actually clashed.
According to Sean’s source, the security review happens in 2026. So, it seems that the often discussed issue of William and his family flying anywhere together will get dumped in the trash can.

Just imagine if an accident happened? If a tragedy happened, and they do happen, then the line of succession could look rather different. It’s a fact, that if the entire family suffers a fatal tragedy, then Prince Harry would be the next King. But what if that doesn’t work out? Well, then Prince Andrew would rule the monarchy.

Apart from fearing her husband might crash in those helicopter flights that he loves so much, apparently, Catherine is also concerned about Prince William riding around the Windsor estate on his scooter. According to the royal analyst, Catherine told him, “you’re not 17 anymore.”
Well, it seems as if Prince William matured a lot since his clash with his royal grandmother, and that he sees the need to be more careful these days. Sean explained that William now sees “the bigger picture of what the queen was trying to paint.”
