Prince William Reportedly Spoke To Prince Harry On His Birthday

When Prince Harry turned 36 last week he reportedly had a nice chat with his brother Prince William, putting to rest rumors of an estrangement. Speculation about a rift between them has run rampant for months but now royal watcher Katie Nicholl claims that the “distance” between the brothers has been good for them.

She told Entertainment Tonight that William spoke with Harry for his birthday and while it won’t be soon that the siblings have a, “cozy Christmas,” together, they are now, “getting on better,” than they were several months ago.

According to Nicholl, the princes are actually talking, “more than they did before,” following Harry and wife Meghan Markle’s exit from the UK.

It Is Said That Prince William Talked To Prince Harry On His Birthday

Katie added, “The brothers spoke on Harry’s birthday. It’s no secret that it’s been a rocky path between the two brothers. But I actually think the distance has been a good thing for them. They are speaking more than they did before.”

She went on to say that Harry and Meghan are starting to get out and about in their new neighborhood in Montecito. Their $14.7 million mansion is tucked away in a gated estate and has neighbors that include Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Ariana Grande.

Prince Harry Has Been Seen Picking Up Take-Out Food

It was Harry’s biography Finding Freedom that punctuated the rumored estrangement between the brothers. The authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie wrote that the rift began in 2016, after Harry and Meghan started dating. Apparently William urged his brother to slow down and, “take some more time getting to know Meghan.”

For most level-headed people, this sounds like concerned advice from a loved one. But to Harry it was incendiary slander against Meghan and he responded by pouting and cutting William off.

Scobie also claimed that the brothers went two months without speaking to each other after Harry announced he was leaving the UK in the now infamous Megxit announcement.

Since the publication of his bio on Harry and Meghan Scobie has made the rounds talking up both the book and his relationship with Meghan. Durand on the other hand has laid low.

In one instance Scobie reaffirmed his tale that Princes William and Harry didn’t speak to each other for two months and said their relationship, “will take time to heal.”
