Prince William Reportedly Wants Harry To Stay Away From the Coronation

And the royal drama continues… I suspect that this is a time when all royal experts, self-proclaimed or not, would wish to be alive.

Earlier this week, the news emerged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been evicted from their Frogmore Cottage home and, according to sources, they were told to pack their belongings as early as January.

If the reports are to be believed, then it means that Harry’s book may have stung the royals in all the wrong places. Yes, they provided a united and silent front on all Harry’s accusations, but they did act, albeit in private. Like a family should.

Royal Source Claims Prince William “Feels Strongly” About His Brother Showing Up At the Coronation

Now that Harry has lost his UK home, there’s really not that much motivation for him to attend his father’s historic coronation on May 6. The last time Harry provided an update on whether he would or wouldn’t be attending the coronation, he said that he might grace the occasion, but that it depended on how his relationship with the royal family has evolved by then.

Another time, it was reported that he was of the mind that he wouldn’t attend the grand coronation if the reception was going to be as cold as the one he and his wife witnessed at the Queen’s funeral.

Well, as he battles with his thoughts on whether to attend or not, his big brother Prince William would rather he sat this one out.

“Charles is a symbol of national unity, of course, as the monarch, and the invitation comes from him,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Us Weekly. “So far as William is concerned, I mean, it’s a terribly deep rift and I don’t see it being mended.”

Fitzwilliams then recalled the time Harry openly said he could well write another book filled with dirtier secrets if he wanted to, calling it “a threat” which should not be ignored.

A palace source further hinted that William is of the opinion that it would be better if Harry didn’t show up, even though it is understood that Charles wants his youngest son to be there.

At this point, I just want to meekly add that if Harry and Meghan don’t want to attend – and they have every right not to – they can offer me the invite and I’ll attend in their place.
