And by that, we mean learn Welsh. His father did it before and seeing how he is the Prince of Wales and the future king of England, one would think that he would have already signed up on Duolingo to make it happen, but it just hasn’t.

According to The Guardian, King Charles studied Welsh at Aberystwyth University. However, his son William has grown up knowing all his life that he would become the Prince of Wales and even lived three years in Wales but never bothered to learn their native language.

Clearly, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I wouldn’t expect fluency in the language but to not even be able to exchange basic pleasantries is shameful and I really don’t understand how it was ‘allowed’ to happen, especially considering that he lived in Wales.”

Another critic wrote, “Lol is this satire??? This is who they claim has been learning since birth to the king, but all he wants to do is collect taxpayers money, go to pubs, party, attend soccer matches (male) and do his earthshot event to declare how popular he is with celebs.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I honestly thought it was a requirement for the Prince of Whales to know Welsh. I remember The Crown showed Charles learning and speaking it (although I’m not sure how accurate that was).”
