It looks like this royal has a different strategy when it comes to winning over America. Of course, we are talking about Prince William as there’s heavy speculation suggesting that he’s wanting to get really close to Donald Trump.

And that’s not just because he wants to build a stable and well-connected relationship between Great Britain and America. It’s also because he probably wants to give Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a good run for their money.

As many royal fans are aware of by now, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not huge fans of the President-Elect.

In fact, when Donald Trump visited London back in 2017, Meghan Markle made sure to avoid him at all costs by skipping out on the state dinner that year. 

There’s also speculation suggesting Harry and Meghan are worried about their future under a Trump presidency. That’s because Harry supposedly lied on his visa application about his past drug use, prompting Trump to say that he would look into it when he gets into office.

For Prince Harry this is an absolutely nightmare situation, but for Prince William there’s no doubt that it has to be a dream. This is finally his way of getting under Harry and Meghan’s skin. He knows just how much they hate Trump.

The Sussexes Absolutely Hate Trump

But whether or not it will actually work remains to be seen but for now there’s a chance that the Prince of Wales might actually get very close to the next president of the United States.

The two of them got along very well when they attended the reopening of Notre Dame in Paris earlier this month. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
