Tom Parker Bowles is the son of Queen Camilla which makes him William’s stepbrother. Tom is a food critic who joined the royal family when his mother and King Charles wed in 2005—the second marriage for each of them.

The Daily Beast reports that William allegedly refuses to attend the royal family’s 2024 Christmas celebration if Tom is on the invite list. Let’s spill the tea royal fans!

William’s relationship with Camilla was a sticking point in the beginning due to allegations that she broke up the marriage of William’s parents, Charles and the late Diana.

William had no choice but to come to terms with his father’s remarriage, but according to the Daily Mail William is unnerved by “Tom’s somewhat louche lifestyle.”

Royal Family News – Tom Parker Bowles is a Party Animal?

Tom tactfully told The Telegraph in 2012: “As for William and Harry, they’ve got very busy lives so our paths tend to cross occasionally if I’m visiting my mum at Clarence House.”

He also told British Vogue of his take on Prince William and Prince Harry: “You just want everyone to be happy.”

Queen Camilla’s son seems to be practical and sensible and told People of the Parker-Bowles clan: “We are married in, we are not the royal family — I’ve never for one second said that. I find everyone incredibly nice and friendly and we’ve known them all for a long time.”

Despite his careful words, there is one royal who Tom has spoken of more candidly, Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton. In 2012 he told The Telegraph that he thinks “Kate is lovely; she has impeccable manners and is sweet and graceful — everything we could hope for in a princess.”

Such praise should go a long way toward smoothing any of William’s feathers that Tom may have ruffled.
