Prince Harry Feels William And Kate Are Too ‘Bougie’?!
Boring and “bougie.” That sums up Prince Harry’s feelings about his brother Prince William, according to a new royal family report.
And the report describes how Harry’s problems with William started years before the Duke of Sussex wed Meghan Markle. Harry actually began to feel bored and annoyed after William tied the knot with Kate Middleton, according to Woman & Home magazine.
Royal expert Tina Brown, who authored The Palace Papers, shared that Prince Harry felt both “displaced” and “bored” after the Prince and Princess of Wales tied the knot. And the Duke of Sussex developed different interests than Kate and William. Harry also thought that Kate and William behaved like a “bougie” family, claimed Brown.
However, Harry also often became viewed as a sidekick or accessory to his brother and sister-in-law after their marriage. And that displacement reportedly annoyed him. Because William seemed to focus on his marriage rather than his bond with his brother, Harry felt increasingly isolated.
Prince Harry Gets ‘Bored’ With Brother
Can’t those royal brothers get along? That’s the question some ask after years of Harry and William feuding. But royal expert Tina Brown describes how William’s wedding to Kate sparked a growing rift. Harry and William remained “close, living next door to each other [at Kensington Palace], sharing the same office, and hanging out a lot” initially, added Brown.
However, as time passed, the Duke of Sussex felt that he had lost “his us-against-the-world bond with William. Harry felt displaced by their bougie family unit,” claimed the royal expert. And the Duke of Sussex also “couldn’t understand his brother’s obsession with his in-laws.”
Because of his marriage to Kate, the Prince of Wales began devoting more of his time to visiting Bucklebury Manor, the Middleton’s house in Berkshire. However, everything about that made Harry suffer from extreme boredom. “Bucklebury world bored Harry to tears,” claimed the author. And Harry felt annoyed with William and Kate’s “tight unit.” In Harry’s eyes, “William [became] a full-on Windsor country bumpkin.”
