Of course, that was before Megxit, before Harry ditched the UK to sunbathe in L.A. and pick fights with the press.
Oh well, enough of that, back to His Royal Highness, Prince William. The man has a serious sideline comedy career as a straight man if the future king of England thing doesn’t work out.
Prince William Is Isolating And Engaging In A Bit Of Home Schooling Which He Calls A Nightmare
Prince William made an appearance on Stephen Fry’s “Big Night In” and he spent a few minutes discussing what it’s like living life in isolation on account of coronavirus pandemic mandates.
In case you don’t know, Fry plays TV character Lord Melchett and he asked William how homeschooling is going. William laughed and said, “It’s been a nightmare, really.” In fact, William and his wife Kate have spoken about the challenges of homeschooling in previous interviews.
His Royal Highness is finding isolation a challenge and he is missing his favorite television shows just like the rest of us
Apparently Prince William is always on the lookout for a good tv binge. He asked Fry, as Lord Melchett, “By the way have you seen anything good on TV? It’s hell without EastEnders.” Who knew William was a soap fan?
In response, Fry said in character, “They tell me ‘Tiger King’ is rather good.”
Tiger King is the latest streaming sensation and nearly everyone you know watches it whether they admit it or not, trust me.
The controversial Netflix docuseries centers on a felonious, unsavory big cat enthusiast and is a huge hit for the streaming service.
Prince William Doesn’t Partake In Shows About Royalty, It’s Not His Thing
Did William like Fry’s suggestion about Tiger King? In a word, no.
“I tend to avoid shows about royalty,” Prince William said. Bada bing, bada boom!
Although the bit was done for laughs, Prince William came off as a funny, intelligent, and normal guy, one you’d like to have a drink and share some popcorn with, kick back and watch anything but The Crown!
LOL! That’s funny!
