It looks like Prince William’s stubbornness is causing problems for the royal family again. That’s because there’s a new report that suggests the future king of England is doing everything that he can to dodge another foreign trip – and this one is to Jamaica. However, William’s refusal to travel could have some major implications for the monarchy.

One source close to the situation put it this way, “It has now been suggested that William has refused the chance to visit Jamaica for a second time in four years.”

That said, insiders believe that Prince William’s reluctance to travel to Jamaica is because the last time he and Kate Middleton were in the country, their visit turned out to be a disaster.

Protests were held against the royal family, there were embarrassing colonial gaffes and the prime minister even fired them on live television. Yes, it was that bad.

Clearly, the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “The Prince of Wales didn’t dodge a three day trip in February to Saudi Arabia. I wonder what the inducement was in cash and other considerations? Unless it’s a luxury holiday then William & Kate aren’t going overseas.”

Another critic wrote, “I’m over here thinking who is asking for William to go back to Jamaica? The Jamaican gov’t was telling them they will become a republic. The last tour was abysmal so I can’t imagine the UK government wanting to send them back for more.”

And then there was this comment as well: “The truth is William and Kate plan to send Sophie and Edward to do the foreign tours once they are king and queen because they are lazy.”

“It’s ‘his majesty’s government’ not the other way around. What consequences will they face? Royals can’t just do what they like but they are able to veto trips.”
