This time around a lot of people couldn’t help but notice just how similar her engagement photo with Edo looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s pic from 2017.
Could it be that Princess Beatrice tried to copy the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s engagement photo with her own pose? Here’s what you need to know.
Princess Beatrice’s Engagement Photos Released To The Public
As many royal fans can recall, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s black-and-white photo had both of them with their eyes closed with Meghan’s hand placed on Harry’s face with her engagement ring in clear view. And while Edo and Beatrice’s photo doesn’t look exactly the same, it is very similar in style. The only two differences are that Beatrice is looking at the camera and that her hand with her engagement ring is placed on his arm.
So does this mean that Beatrice tried to replicate Harry and Meghan’s famous photo? That’s what a lot of social media fans can’t help but wonder. Some have even taken to their accounts to post comments such as: “They couldn’t envision a different pose/picture. This is ridiculous and pathetic. I absolutely cannot with this copycat family,”

“Couldn’t Beatrice come up with something a little different?” another said. “Here’s hoping that they are not going to have the exact same wedding as Harry and Meghan or even Eugenie and Jack. They should be able to come up with something a little more original, right?”

Needless to say, some reports have indicated that Beatrice is looking to get married in Edo’s native Italy. The only problem with her plans though is that her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, would not be able to attend the wedding, as she no longer flies overseas.
So far Princess Beatrice has not made any comments about the criticism although at this point it is doubtful that she will say anything. The couple are yet to set a date for their upcoming wedding.
