Princess Beatrice has gone out of the woodwork to do her first royal engagement in many months, despite the fact that her father Prince Andrew has been making headlines for his controversial past. The young royal admitted during a conference that she suffers from imposter syndrome every day and that this is something many people have, too. Here’s what she has to say.

Royal Family News – Princess Beatrice Admits To Having Imposter Syndrome

According to the Daily Mail, Beatrice spoke to a room full of people and said the only way that you can be happy with yourself is if you be yourself, and not a version of yourself that you post on social media. The 31-year-old gave her speech during the Women in Cable Telecommunications event in London this week.

Beatrice’s comments came after her father Prince Andrew was given the boot from Buckingham Palace by Queen Elizabeth. This came after his disastrous television interview in which he tried to deny some of the events that occurred in his controversial past. So far neither Buckingham Palace nor Princess Beatrice have many any comments about Prince Andrew’s behavior, although it’s been noted that he has most definitely distanced himself from the rest of the royal family.

Royal News – Tells Room Full Of Women To Be Authentic

Princess Beatrice said, “You have to find a way to be yourself, to be authentic. I have impostor syndrome every day but it’s something we all have to overcome.”’

And while this can be interpreted in many different ways, the young royal didn’t say exactly why she had imposter syndrome or what she does to get rid of it. Either way, a lot of the guests at the event took to their Twitter accounts to share comments such as, “Interesting to hear Princess Beatrice has impostor syndrome like the rest of us tonight,” along with, “Kudos to Princess Beatrice for her honest words at an event this evening.”
