While Beatrice and her fiancé Edo were hoping to tie the knot later this Spring, it looks like the couple will have to postpone their plans once again.

Princess Beatrice And Edoardo Mapell Mozzi’s Wedding Plans Delayed Again Because Of Coronavirus Outbreak

According to new reports, Beatrice and Edo were hoping that their wedding would be the ‘social event of the year’ with as many as 150 people invited to their ceremony and reception, which was supposed to be held at St. James’s Palace and the Buckingham Palace gardens. But now that the coronavirus has all but changed life as we know it, the couple will have to wait a little bit longer before they make things official between them.

Of course, one of the other reasons why Beatrice and Edo will have to postpone their nuptials is because many of the businessman’s relatives are still in Italy, where they are facing a massive countrywide lockdown to help curb the spread of the virus. If that weren’t enough, Queen Elizabeth herself has taken precautionary measures as reports this week have stated that she will be practicing social distancing at Windsor Castle for the next several weeks to come. In addition, many of Beatrice and Edo’s family and friends are staying at home, as many international airline carriers have restricted non-essential flying.

British Royals Reaching Out On Social Media

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the coronavirus outbreak, but both the House of Sussex and the House of Cambridge have taken to their social media accounts to reach out to fans and assure them that together, we will make it through these uncertain yet also very challenging times.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle posted a lengthy message on their Instagram account and were followed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in their own video message.

The Cambridges wrote, “The public’s desire to help in the wake of tragedy needs to be managed and channeled in the best possible way – which is why the establishment of the National Emergencies Trust was so important. The NET has launched an appeal to raise funds to help local charities support individuals suffering hardship as a result of the #coronavirus outbreak.”
