Princess Beatrice Wedding News: Young Royal Wants A Small, Intimate Wedding

Apparently, Princess Beatrice is not looking to have the same kind of pomp and circumstance wedding that both her sister Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle had in the past. Instead, she wants to keep things simple but tasteful at the same time. Instead of having her wedding at Windsor Castle, there are reports that indicate Princess Beatrice is looking to have one at her parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s private estate instead.

According to Britain’s The Daily Mirror, Beatrice and Edo are looking to get married in her parent’s garden. It will be enough space to invite both the British monarchy and Edo’s closest family members, but not enough to have the hundred or so people that were on the guestlist for both Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle’s weddings. Prince Harry and Meghan tied to knot at Windsor Castle back in May of 2018 while Eugenie married the love of her life, Jack Brooksbank in October of that year.

There were earlier reports that indicated Princess Beatrice and Edo were also planning on having a wedding reception and ceremony in his native Italy so that they could celebrate his native Italian heritage. But because Queen Elizabeth no longer flies abroad, it would have made things very difficult for the most senior member of the monarchy to attend her granddaughter’s wedding.

Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement late last month but so far have not revealed their wedding date. However, it was reported that the couple does plan on getting married sometime in 2020. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any additional comments about their wedding plans, but we will definitely update you with more information as it comes in.
