Princess Catherine Greeted By Adoring Crowds At First Public Appearance Since Cancer Reveal

British royal family news reveals that Catherine the Princess of Wales has made her first public appearance since telling the world of her cancer diagnosis and treatment plan.

Today she was a shining star as she joined the Royal Family as they celebrated the King’s official birthday.

Kate shone, surrounded by her three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The family was cheered on by crowds in The Mall after as they departed Buckingham Palace in a glass coach procession for the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony.

King Charles rode in a carriage with Queen Camilla, a change from last year, due to his illness. In another change he inspected the officers and guardsmen on Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall from the coach rather than from a horse.

Kate was greeted enthusiastically by the gathered well-wishers as the royal party turned from The Mall into Horse Guards Parade. She arrived with her children at Buckingham Palace in a car at 10am.

At 1pm, she is expected to gather with King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince William and other Royal Family members on Buckingham Palace’s balcony for the RAF flypast.

Kate announced in February that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was receiving preventative chemotherapy. The news came after weeks of speculation about the exact state of her health.

In January the palace announced that she had undergone a routine abdominal surgery and would be sidelined until after Easter.

The public became increasing antsy, even agitated when Kate did not appear for weeks on end despite the palace saying that she would be at home recuperating. She divulged her true health condition after rumors of her death began circulating.

Her appearance on Saturday followed her announcement on Friday that she would appear in public, and after she missed the final Trooping rehearsal last weekend.

Kate’s absence has been acutely felt by royalists who are aware that King Charles is also receiving cancer treatment.

Nonetheless, the sight today of the monarch and the future queen gave the public much to rally around, and the crowds were loud and approving at the sight of the royal family intact once again.
