Princess Charlene Planning To Return To Monaco Soon, According To Prince Albert

Unfortunately, 2021 has not been a great year for Her Royal Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco. The South African-born has been stuck in her homeland due to a serious illness. However, it looks like her health may allow her to finally return home.

Here is the latest information on Princess Charlene.

Princess Charlene Will Be Returning Home Soon

When Princess Charlene of Monaco went to her homeland of South Africa for just a few days, she had no idea that she would still be grounded there for six months. According to Hello Magazine, she was just on a short tour when her health kept her from returning home. This infection kept her from safely flying home.

She explained why she was there in the first place. “I came to South Africa to oversee some foundation projects.” That was her reason for going, but she had no idea she was dealing with something so serious. “I was unwell at the time, unknowingly, and I had an infection which was addressed immediately.”

Just earlier in October, Princess Charlene had a “final” operation dealing with her ear-nose-throat (ENT) infection. This was for sinus correction. Back in September, the Princess collapsed after her surgery and was forced to return to hospital.

What Date Will Princess Charlene Be Home?

Prince Albert had originally announced that his wife would be returning sometime in October. Yet, the month is nearly over, and she could not yet return safely home. So, he advised People that she is now going to return home before November 19, which is the Monaco National Day.

The 63 year-old-Prince told the periodical, “She’s in good form and much better spirits,” before he promised when she would be back. “She will be here way before National Day, November 19.”

He then clarified his response, in case the locals thought November 19 was her travel day. “Way before.” However, there is no information on whether she will be back in time to go to Dubai for the planned November 13 trip to the World Expo. He cautioned, “we’ll make that decision at the last minute.”

Princess Waiting For Reunion With Royal Twins

Now that the Princess has had her final surgery, she can get back to normal life. This means that Charlene will soon reunite with the Prince and with their six-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. Thankfully, Prince Albert brought the six-year-old twins to see their 43-year-old mother in South Africa during the summer. But, she does miss them terribly.

Tough Times For Her Royal Highness Princess Charlene

The Princess of Monaco has had a difficult 2021. Besides her serious health issues, she has suffered the recent loss of her beloved dog, Angel. On Tuesday, she wrote on her Instagram page, “My little Angel died last night, she was run over. I will miss you so much, Rest In Peace 💔.”

She received many offers of condolences in what appears to be a very trying year of life. But, soon she will be reunited with family and she can return to her royal duties and routines.
