It looks like she’s not the loyal friend and cousin everyone thought her to be. Of course, we are talking about Princess Eugenie as there’s a new report that suggests she’s formed a new alliance with Prince William amid quite the shift in the royal family.

It wasn’t too long ago that Princess Eugenie was showing her support for her cousin Prince Harry, but it looks like all that has changed.

In fact, a new report says that Princess Eugenie has grown closer with Prince William mostly because of their shared environmental beliefs.

At the same time, she’s been distancing herself from Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle back in California. Instead, she and the future king of England have found common ground in their commitment to preserving the world’s oceans.

It looks like she would rather work on making the world a better place than hang out with Harry and eat his wife’s jams in Montecito.

In fact, a lot of people have noticed that it’s been years since Princess Eugenie has even visited the Sussexes even though they purchased a home in Portugal so they can be right next to them. Some people have even suggested that Harry and Meghan are yet to even visit Portugal.

What’s Next For Princess Eugenie?

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Eugenie has been supportive of Harry and Meghan for years and was right there at the beginning of their relationship – but it has now soured.”

Now, whether or not things will ever change between Eugenie and Harry remains to be seen. But as long as she is going to stay close to Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, it’s doubtful that will happen.
