Princess Eugenie And Princess Beatrice Set To Become Working Royals?

Princess Eugenie And Princess Beatrice Members of the Royal Family conduct over 2,000 official engagements every year with multiple royals pitching in to make the appearances. At this time Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are not a part of this group, also known as working royals. Instead, they maintain outside jobs for an income.

Beatrice is ninth, and Eugenie is tenth, in line to the throne. It is unlikely that they would one day ascend, but you never know! Their ranking means that the two sisters might at some point take on full-time royal responsibilities according to their father Prince Andrew, who was quoted as saying such in a new book out by author Sasha Swire.

Will Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugenie Eventually Become Working Royals?

At this time, it appears on the surface at least that the family could use a few more hands pitching in to help–Prince Charles alone conducted over 500 engagements in 2018.

That year Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth undertook around 280 engagements even though she was in her 90s.

What would Beatrice and Eugenie do as working royals? For starters, the younger senior royals are asked to perform around 100 engagements per year. This group includes Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton.

Right now Beatrice and Eugenie both have their own jobs and neither is required to perform the type of royal duties that their relatives do.

The Royal Sisters Have Full Time Outside Careers

Princess Beatrice earned a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of London, and now works in the finance and consulting industry via her job at software company Afiniti.

She is the Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy there and according to the firm she is responsible for, “the management of the strategic Afiniti partnerships as well as company growth through unique initiatives and client development.”

According to Insider, Princess Beatrice has an estimated net worth of roughly $4.6 million, or over £3.5 million. She married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi earlier this year.

Princess Eugenie earned art history and English literature degrees at Newcastle University and she also has a full-time job, at an art gallery in London. She is a director for art gallery Hauser & Wirth which is located on London’s famous Savile Row.

Eugenie’s projects include organizing art fairs and other events, and she has, “built close relationships with a number of artists,” according to the firm.

Additionally, both princesses are engaged in charity work, including Project O, Elephant Family, the Big Change Charitable Trust, and the Berkshire Community Foundation.
