Princess Eugenie has been left utterly devasted after she was snubbed by her uncle, Prince Charles. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that suggests the young royal was ousted from her title as a senior royal by none other than her Uncle Charles. Here’s what you need to know.
Royal News: Princess Eugenie Reportedly Devasted By Prince Charles Snub
According to New Idea, the 29-year-old – who is married to her husband Jack Brooksbank – is not considered a full-time royal despite the fact that she is tenth in line for the throne. For reasons that have been kept to himself, Prince Charles is unwilling to let both Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice have more of a royal profile despite the fact that they are very active with their royal engagements and charity work.
It wasn’t too long ago that Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, campaigned for his daughters to become full-time royals just so they could enjoy all of the perks and attention that other members of the family receive, particularly Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice would have more royal duties and contact with the public.
Prince Of Wales Refuses To Change His Mind
Unfortunately, the Prince of Wales reportedly thought the monarchy should keep their circle as small as possible. This includes his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and of course the Cambridges and the Sussexes.
Needless to say, this hasn’t stopped both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice from attending as many royal engagements and public appearances as possible. The two have maintained a very high public profile, post updates about their charity work on social media and try to stay in the royal spotlight as much as they can.
Queen Elizabeth In Favor Of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice
What’s more, it’s also been reported that Queen Elizabeth is very fond of her granddaughters – particularly Eugenie – and came out in support of the two princesses. Princess Eugenie frequently attends engagements with her grandmother and often joins her at church services, the Royal Windsor Horse Show and Royal Ascot.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the report. We will definitely keep you updated in the meantime!
