Princess Eugenie Shows Her Support For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Despite what some media outlets have to say, Princess Eugenie has nothing but love for her cousin Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. As a matter of fact, Eugenie was the only member of the royal family to publicly show her love for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on social media. Eugenie had a very special message for the couple after they welcomed their son, Archie Harrison, this past week.
Posting a black and white photo of Harry and Meghan after their photo call with the media on Wednesday, Princess Eugenie captioned it with, “I’m just so happy for you!”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for Eugenie’s social media followers to comment on the post. Some of them said, “You’re the sweetest, Eugenie. Happy to see a family who’s supporting each other,” along with, “You are so sweet Princess Eugenie!! Little Archie is lucky to have a lovely Aunt like you!”
Another fan wrote, “Princess Eugenie is the only one who always post the sweetest things about her family!! I love this.”

And while Prince William and Kate Middleton have said that they are eager to meet little Archie in the coming days, they didn’t post any congratulatory messages on their social media accounts. Instead, William joked that he is “very pleased to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting.”
There were previous reports that suggested Princess Eugenie was feuding with Meghan Markle because she apparently stole her thunder on her wedding day back in October. Some eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that Meghan had a slight baby bump during Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank. However, the Duchess of Sussex waited until the Monday after the wedding to make her pregnancy announcement.
Clearly, there is nothing but love for Eugenie and her royal cousins. We have a feeling that she is going to make an excellent royal aunt to little Archie Harrison. Eugenie is a second cousin to Archie, not an aunt. She is not a sibling to Prince Harry, but is his first cousin. Nevertheless, it is certain that she will be a loving second cousin and probably will function as an “aunt.”
