Sure, they can be friends, but they can only be friends from behind closed doors. Of course, we are talking about Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle as there’s strong speculation suggesting someone might have told the princess that she needs to keep her distance from Prince Harry’s wife.

As many of our readers know, the Duchess of Sussex just debuted her new lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, on Netflix. 

And while she has a lot of her celebrity friends on the show, including Hollywood actress Mindy Kaling, the only royal who has made an appearance has been her husband, Prince Harry.

Of course, Meghan Markle would like nothing more than to have someone like Princess Eugenie on her show. She would like to show the world that yes, she does have at least one royal family member who is still sticking by her side.

But there’s no way that the palace would ever approve of Eugenie appearing on Meghan’s lifestyle show on Netflix. Not only that, but Prince William would flip out over the sheer thought of it.

Even though Princess Eugneie has remained close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over the years, she has to be very careful not to sidestep her role as a royal when she’s with them.

That means she has to be very careful not to be seen too often with Harry and Meghan even though they are close family friends. The last thing that she wants to do is rock the boat with the royal family back at home.

That’s why Princess Eugenie didn’t appear on Meghan’s show. If she did, there’s no doubt that it would have been a huge boost for program, which she could have easily used. That’s because there are more people that are tuning out than in by the day.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
