This is only the third known appearance by the princess since acknowledging her cancer diagnosis in March. This year Kate presented trophies at Wimbledon in July and appeared at Trooping the Colour in June.

It was reported that the family of five enjoyed a Nerf ball battle last week at Bear Grylls’ Go Wild festival at Holkham Hall although there were no pictures published as the family viewed it as a private outing.
Today Kate looked resplendent in a brown checkered print coat from Holland Cooper and a spry fedora hat adorned with feathers. Kate wore her hair down and accessorized with gold earrings.
The outing today was a family affair, with the couple accompanied by King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and Sir Tim Laurence.

August is the traditional month for the royal family to retreat to Balmoral, the family estate in Scotland. Prior to this Kate recuperated at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. Their residence is close to the Sandringham estate and the site of Kate’s videotaped message released on August 11.
The message from Kate and William congratulates Team GB on their efforts at the Paris Olympics: “Congratulations to Team GB” a smiling Kate said to the camera. William added “Well done on all you’ve achieved. You’ve been an inspiration to us all.

Royal Family News – Kate Continues To Recover
Kate looked fit and healthy in the video, wearing a white and blue striped T-shirt, with William in a Team GB polo shirt.
The princess is undergoing preventative chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer. She began her treatment in February and in June released a video saying that she was making “good progress” with “good days and bad days.”
She added that she is “not out of the woods yet” and that her treatment will be ongoing for a few more months.
She stated “On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”
