British royal family reports positive news about Princess Kate’s medical situation. She is undergoing preventative cancer treatment and is recuperating at home until she is able to return to public duties.

According to a family friend, Kate Middleton can see the light at the end of the tunnel and has “turned a corner” with her cancer treatment.

The insider told Vanity Fair on Tuesday: “It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better.” This is great news for a nation that grown to love and depend on the woman who shall be the next queen.

The source pointed out that Kate’s unexpected cancer battle has challenged and worried the royal family but her immediate family and her husband, Prince William, have “rallied around her.”

In March, 42-year old Kate revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing preventative chemotherapy. The public has not been told where the cancer is located but it is in its early stages.

She did not disclose what kind of cancer she has but shared in her video message that the disease was still in its “early stages.”

Kate’s last official public outing was in December 2023 for a Christmas church service. In January it was announced that Catherine “had undergone a planned abdominal surgery and would be hospitalized for up to two weeks, and not return to duties until after easter”

As the weeks went by, social media grew more and more impatient with a lack of news about her condition, and conspiracy theories filled the vacuum.

Before her announcement she had been seen only a handful of times, including a car drive with her mother Carole Middleton, near Windsor Castle. Later she was spotted at a farmer’s market with her husband Prince William.

A insider told the Daily Beast “The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better.”

It is thought that William, Catherine, and their children Louis, Charlotte, and George will spend the summer at their countryside retreat, Amner Hall.

Despite her all-encompassing treatment schedule, Kate has remained involved with her charity and an aide stated that she had read a report issued by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and had been briefed on its finding.
