Princess Kate’s Powerful Message On “Forgiveness” Signals Possible End Of Royal Feud

Prince Harry may have dragged his brother Prince William and wife Princess Kate through the mud to sell some books and land some interviews, but Princess Kate’s belief in the power of forgiveness could help right the feud.

This means that it’s possible that Harry can be forgiven, or even has been, and a more peaceful co-existence may be fostered in the future. Here’s what the Princess of Wales has to say about forgiveness.

Princess Kate Says Forgiveness Starts When We “Open” Our Hearts

Princess Kate has penned a beautiful Christmas message that will be shared with attendees on December 6 during her carol service at Westminster Abbey.

The handwritten letter focused on the importance of “love, kindness and forgiveness – so much of what the Christmas spirit is all about.”

Speaking further on forgiveness, she reminded everyone “of the importance of giving and receiving empathy, as well as just how much we need each other in spite of our differences.”

At the moment, William and Harry’s relationship has continued to remain frosty, so much so they’re not on speaking terms.

This year, due to the ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family, the Montecito couple were not extended an invitation to spend Christmas at Sandringham. Though an insider believes the invitation would likely have been turned down even if it were offered.

Continuing on in the goodwill message, Princess Catherine added: “It is when we stop and take ourselves away from the pressures of daily life, that we find the space to live our lives with an open heart.”

She encouraged Britons to “consider the experiences and feelings of others” as we gather to celebrate the joys of the season.

This year’s event will be Kate’s fourth annual Christmas service and will host 1,600 people.
She added: “Above all else, it encourages us to turn to love, not fear. The love that we show ourselves and the love we show others.”

Echoing the message she put out earlier on treating addicts with love and offering support, she further advised that “Love that listens with empathy, love that is kind and understanding, love that is forgiving, and love that brings joy and hope.”

She signed off the message with her handwritten signature, “Catherine, Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales.”
