Princess Kate’s Uncle Calls For Prince Harry And Meghan’s Titles To Be Taken Away

Princess Kate’s uncles’s time on Celebrity Big Brother has received mixed reviews due to his criticisms of Harry and Meghan and discussing Princess Kate and Prince William on the show.

On Wednesday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith shared his opinions on Harry and Meghan retaining their titles despite stepping down as members of the Royal Family.

On Wednesday’s episode of the reality TV show, Gary Goldsmith, who is the younger brother to the Princess of Wales’ mother Carole Middleton, chatted with fellow CBB contestant Fern Britton about the existing rift between two of Princess Diana’s sons.

Expressing her concern for William after Harry left the Monarchy, Britton said, “My feeling is that William must be furious now to have suddenly the weight of it all on his head and his shoulders.”

Goldsmith, 58, responded: “His father, wife, brother. While they try and reshape the Royal Family and modernise it. I think he’s done an amazing job in that horrible situation.”

He continued: “And he’s always seemed that he has had an olive branch open at any time for Harry to come back and be part of the gang. I desperately feel that that’s the case. It’s difficult to get over.”

Britton added: “To see two beloved sons warring that way is heartbreaking.” To this, Goldsmith declared, “I genuinely think that they should take the titles away.”

The sentiment of Harry and Meghan being stripped of their royal titles is one Goldsmith shares with many royal fans.

There’s been calls for the couple to be stripped their titles through the years, and it’s especially intense whenever the fans feel that either of them has slighted the monarchy.

Previously, Goldsmith had shared his belief that Harry would one day want to come back to be part of the “gang.”

He said: “I think at some point he’s going to want to come back and be part of the gang, he might need to, but I think we’re a very forgiving nature and I think everybody will give him a chance again.”
