It’s a given that Kate Middleton has earned her place as one of the most, if not the most, popular member of the British Royal Family.
She’s worth millions of dollars to the British fashion economy and she’s beloved and respected by millions from around the world, not just the UK.
This level of attention is not often enjoyed by royal wives – well, save Princess Diana – but Kate Middleton has not only managed to earn it, but keep it.
I bet she would make the papers if she yawned prettily in public. On the other hand, Princess Beatrice, 35, and Princess Eugenie, 33, have struggled to match this fame, even though they occasionally partake in events on behalf of the Royal Family.
Royal Expert Weighs In On Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s Continued Support of the Royal Family
Even though Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie struggle to “hold the same level of public attention” as senior royals, it didn’t stop them from occasionally offering support to the Royal Family, alongside their private ventures.
Yes, it’s a stigma on the Princesses’ parts that their father, Prince Andrew, was forced to step down from royal duties following his disgraceful Newsnight interview in 2019, but it’s not making them distance themselves from the BRF.
Instead, they’ve been as supportive of it as before. Speaking on how the two royals plan to navigate Christmas Day at Sandringham with the rest of the family, Karine Laudort opined that it will be a show of “unity.”
She said: “Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are not considered working royals and do not carry out official duties on behalf of the King. They have private careers and engagements outside of their royal roles.”
Laudort, who founded the style blog Kay Flawless Digital, continued: “However, they do occasionally attend official royal events and support charitable causes.”
They’ve also been known to constantly show “support for the Royal Family.”
She explained: “While they may not hold the same level of public attention as other senior royals, they have certainly shown unity and support for the Royal Family in the past. So it is very possible that they may continue to demonstrate messages of unity on Christmas Day this year.”
Two of their members may be in Montecito occasionally airing grievances against them, but the Royal Family has managed to show “unity” this season with their yearly Christmas gathering.
Zara Tindall and Prince Louis stole our hearts on Christmas Day, and don’t get me started on that adorable hug shared between Prince George and Mike Tindall.

Why do they need to match her fame? They just need to do their part, in my opinion. It’s not a popularity contest nor should it be.
