Queen Camilla Gets Nickname!
King Charles and Queen Camilla’s grandchildren just know the royals as grandfather and grandmother. But when it comes to Camilla, the youngsters invented a nickname. And they typically refer to the Queen as “Gaga,” revealed People.
Sara Parker Bowles, the ex-wife of Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles, discussed getting the children prepped for King Charles and Queen Camilla’s coronation day. Sara and Tom co-parent their daughter Lola, 16, and son Freddy, 13. And Sara explained that Freddy’s outfit depended on his royal role as a Page of Honor with the twin sons of Camilla’s daughter Laura Lopes as well as Prince George.
However, figuring out Lola’s outfit involved more stress. And Sara shared, “Everyone thinks it’s chance that they all come out in the right colors. But it’s very carefully dictated behind the scenes,” she said about the crowning ceremony. And Sara also offered new details about the ceremony.

Queen Camilla Becomes ‘Human Face’ Of Royal Family
Sara also revealed that she watched as Freddy stepped onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the newly crowned King and Queen and other royal family members. “His face on the balcony — I could see he was just like, ‘Woah!’ My favorite part of the whole day was that he did a little wave that he wasn’t supposed to. I was quite obsessively watching him,” added the proud mom. “But I knew by then he was going to be okay, that I could sort of let go.”
However, Sara also revealed new details behind the scenes of the historic crowning. And she shared that Camilla felt “really, really nervous. She wanted the people that she loved around her,” added Sara. But King Charles didn’t feel “nervous at all. But Camilla didn’t ask for any of this.”
And Sara shared that she feels Queen Camilla has become “the human face of the royal family because she’s not part of it. You need those outsiders really,” she added. Camilla recently celebrated her 76th birthday, celebrating it privately with King Charles. And the two will soon travel to Scotland. Each year, the royals spend the summer at Balmoral Castle, known as the retreat for the royal family in the Scottish highlands.
