Royal Family ‘Happy’ About Meghan’s And Harry’s Absence
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided not to attend the Royal Ascot this year. But their absence at the elite horse race apparently made everyone feel free to gossip about them.
A highlight of England’s social season, the spectacle reigned as one of the late Queen Elizabeth’s favorites. But this year King Charles III and Queen Camilla rose to the occasion. However, “the gossip in the royal enclosure was how happy everyone was that Meghan and Harry weren’t here,” an insider told Page Six.
And many gossip-happy Royal Ascot visitors focused on the “frosty relationship between Camilla and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” revealed a source. But the flood of chatter at the event comes several years after Meghan first attended the Royal Ascot in 2018. And Markle made her debut just a month after tying the knot with Prince Harry. Decked out in designer attire, Meghan arrived in a carriage appropriate for a duchess.

However, this year Camilla seemed to chose an outfit designed to throw shade at Markle. And she apparently knew that Meghan’s rumored big bucks deal with Dior fell through. As a result, Camilla got royally shady by choosing to don Dior for the occasion. However, she also reportedly remains careful about going too far in throwing shade at Meghan or her hubby Prince Harry.
Queen Camilla ‘Furious’ At Prince Harry
And an insider revealed that “Camilla’s friends say she remains furious at Harry and Meghan.” That anger stems in part from Harry calling her a “wicked stepmother” in his memoir “Spare.” And Camilla doesn’t seem likely to forgive Harry anytime soon. But the source source shared that Camilla has told Charles that both Harry and Meghan “make her uncomfortable.”

However, Camilla seems safe in making that confession to Charles. Because he “loves her unconditionally,” added the insider. “He made her queen and will choose her well-being over them every time.“ But “Camilla knows not to go too far, as Charles still loves Harry,” added the insider.

And ultimately, the source feels that “everyone blames Meghan for the entire mess.” However, Camilla remains cautious in avoiding any public negative comments about Harry and Meghan. And the insider explained, “Today at Ascot proved the people love her.” As a result, she won’t take the risk of ruing her reputation. And despite the dislike of Meghan and Harry, “it was a great day at the races. The ladies’ hats were fantastic,” summed up the insider.

As far as I am concerned Camilla is just as bad as Harry and Megan. She has been nasty to Harry and Megan but not to Kate who busted her butt for the monarchy. She is so jealous of Kate and I don’t understand she she finally got her title as QUEEN and now she is better than ANYONE ELSE IN THE ROYAL FAMILY!!!!
That’s rubbish. No one is as bad as the two who have vilified virtually the whole family in public. The majority of which is untrue. But most importantly family are the most important people you have in your life and any problems are within the family not to be played out in public. What those 2 have done to our Royal Family is unacceptable especially considering a lot is made up or completely over exaggerated
I think the Royals need to be gotten rid of…….they get to much money from the British people who should no longer have to support their over th top life style. Royals are living very well while the average Brits are not.Time shut down the very expensive homes, clothes, jewels, cars, etc. Royalty is outdated idea. Truly sick of constant drama Camilla acting all superìòr………she was a mistress to a poor excuse a man……sick love affair.
