As many royal fans already know, Diana was left heartbroken over Charles and Camilla’s supposed affair while she was still married to the prince. She even once famously said that she felt as though there were three people in her marriage. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Queen Camilla Will Be Thinking Of Princess Diana During The Coronation For This Reason
According to Paul Burrell, who served as Princess Diana’s butler, he believes that many members of the royal family will be thinking of Diana during the coronation.
After all, this was supposed to be her moment to shine as the new Queen of England. But history had different plans for the late Princess of Wales, as she died in a horrific car crash back in 1997. Charles went on to marry Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Paul puts it this way, “I always think to myself, ‘What would she do in this situation?’ And she would have been at the coronation looking glorious, in her sixties, outshining everyone the way she did. I don’t think she would hold any animosity at all towards her ex-husband or towards her ex-husband’s wife. I think she would have gone on in life and achieved her own ambitions, still being royal and regal.”

Camilla Parker Bowles Has No Comment
When asked about the coronation and whether or not he will be watching it, Paul said, “I’ll be thinking, ‘How many people around the world will be sparing a thought for our beautiful princess?’
She’s the one person that won’t be there, but she will be there in spirit. Everybody inside that abbey, including Harry, William, Kate, Charles, Camilla – all of them – will be thinking of Princess Diana.”
So far Camilla Parker Bowles herself has not made any comments about the matter. In fact, she’s never really spoken out about her husband’s ex-wife at all.
