The Queen Delivers Poignant Speech
Her Majesty addressed the nation in a videotaped address, one which did not include mention of Andrew, Prince Harry or Meghan. Instead the 95-year-old queen chose to dwell on the positive by praising Charles, Camilla, William and Kate, senior royals who have stood by her and with her in a year pocked by controversy and sorrow.
Harry and Meghan pushed the envelope past the edge of no return when they ditched the monarchy then spent a year bad mouthing it and the family who inhabit the realm.
At this time 2022 is shaping up to be a celebratory year with the queen’s Platinum Jubilee on tap as well as a special service of thanksgiving for the Duke of Edinburgh’s life. Yet the specter of dark clouds hover on the horizon since Harry’s tell-all memoir will also drop next year.
The Queen Addresses Nation In Touching Message
The Queen’s son Andrew also drew shadows across the monarchy with lingering questions about his friendship with dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and Epstein’s “pimp” Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell is on trial in New York, accused of sex trafficking. Andrew is facing a similar NYC lawsuit related to Maxwell and Epstein. Virginia Roberts has accused Andrew having sex with her on three occasions in 2001 while she was still a minor and under the influence of Maxwell and Epstein.
During the broadcast the Queen spoke about Philip, Charles, Camilla, William and Kate. Speaking from Windsor Castle, she said, “I am proud beyond words that his (Philip’s) pioneering work has been taken on and magnified by our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William – admirably supported by Camilla and Catherine – most recently at the COP climate change summit in Glasgow.”
The Queen’s Health Is In Question
The Queen did not address her health issues which erupted this fall. She was forced to cancel a string of key engagements, including the Glasgow COP26 conference. She was also absent from the Christmas Day church service near Windsor Castle after cancelling her trip to Sandringham, while Charles and Camilla were in attendance.

It is the queen’s loss if she does not reach out to her grandson
It is not for HMTQ to "reach out"!!!!! Harry owes his Grandmother and indeed, his family, and the entire country, an immense apology for his appalling behaviour. If Harry wants to try to make amends, he would stand a better chance of anyone having anything to do with him, if he leaves, once and for all, the evil, malicious and frankly "dangerous" woman he married. JMHO!!!!
Talk about being wrong!!! Or are you just 12?
What loss? Harry and Meghan were handed the silver platter with all the gold and money in the world and yet they betrayed the family that Harry was born into. They LIED on national TV in front of the entire world and still kept at it even when the Oprah ended…..Harry's dad still supported them with millions of dollars while in living in Canada and now in Ca, what more can anyone do for them, give them the crown that his grandmother wears? I personally would NEVER TRUST either one of them again if I was in that family and I even did that to a close family member of my own…….LIES have a way of back firing on a person, and boy they are coming to roost on Harry and Meghan….HM is a tough lady and knows that is important in her life, and that is the monarch and her family, the ones who are truthful and dignified and want to help those in need……..Harry and Meghan are helping themselves only as everyone can see.
